在9月8日的《台灣危矣》和9月11日的《第三次世界大戰已幾乎不可避免》中，我全面闡述了川普是如何大幅度提升第三次世界大戰爆發的危險的。我結尾說：
諾貝爾和平獎？癡人說夢。
如果有一個諾貝爾戰爭獎，這個傻逼倒是必得。
但傻逼自己不這麼想。你看看他拼命施壓巴以雙方的幹勁，就想在和平獎公佈前做成這件大事。
我不看好這個和平協議。哈馬斯如果懂得人類的情感和邏輯，它們也不會發動10月7日的襲擊。說服它們釋放所有人質，解除自己的武裝？誰有這個巧舌，肯定能說服普京退出所有烏克蘭領土，並給烏克蘭10萬億美元的戰爭賠款。
一個大幅度提升第三次世界大戰幾率的人，一個派軍隊佔領自己國家的和平城市的人，一個對自己的政治對手大肆進行迫害的人，一個為21世紀的希特勒普京鋪下紅毯的人，一個利用權力大肆為自己和家族撈取財富的人，一個吹噓抓女人私處的人，一個定了商業欺詐罪的人，他會得諾貝爾和平獎？
那麼，下一批得獎的人應該是普京、霍梅尼、金正恩、習近平。
那麼，下一個被授獎的正派人會拒絕接受，因為諾貝爾獎已經是一個惡臭的符號。

It’s all about making Trump look good. This is why they brag about his stopping seven wars in seven months. In reality, he is not able to stop the Ukraine war he promised to stop, remains fuzzy over Taiwan, and is amassing troops near Venezuela. On Venezuela, though, there is bipartisan interest in regime change.
On Ukraine, he might or might not have thought that he could get a peace deal. At a minimum, he wanted to shift the responsibility to the Europeans. That he has accomplished. He looks like he tried, tried hard.
On taiwan, another bipartisan interest, Trump seems a lot more cautious. He is trying to turn down the heat with China to buy some time, so that no war breaks out during his term. Arguably this is a wise strategy. Confronting the PRC head-on would only make things worse. The U.S. （here I mean not just Trump) seems to be misleading the PRC into thinking that a peaceful solution is on the horizon sometime soon. This is a deception to buy some time.
